This Rosé is a blend that has originated from the Chardonnay-influenced, The Invitation.
Terroir :
The red varietals, namely Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier come from old vines situated in Ludes.
Blend : 25% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot noir, 35% Pinot meunier
Aging : 18 to 24 month on lees
Liquor d'expedition : between 5 and 8g (of sugar)
Tasting note : Fresh citrus and hints of red fruits. The mouth is fleshy, round, upfront but charming.
Appealing as an aperitif, this Champagne shows itself well, when served with bitter chocolate and candied grapefruit peel.
